SHOWS, EVENTS AND COMPETITIONS FROM 2025
2025 was an amazing year for shows and competitions. I carved in England, Wales and Scotland alongside so many excellent carvers. I hit a record price for a speed carve at Cheshire this year and completed the 4-hour, no power tools carve at Carve Carrbridge with a few minutes to spare. See below some highlights:

2025 HIGHLIGHTS
Check out all of the shows I've been to so far this year below. For details and pictures about my recent site carves and shows from previous years, take a look at my blog page.
COED CONWY FESTIVAL
1st-2nd March 2025
The first show of 2025 - what a show it was! Such a pleasure to be back carving alongside so many other outstanding carvers and in such a lovely setting. We were blessed with brilliant weather, too! Check out my gallery for more pictures from the show.

THAME COUNTRY FAIR
20th-21st April 2025
What a lovely way to spend Easter weekend. My piece for this one was particularly close to my heart. This lovely little angel also allowed me to practice a face ahead of the English Open Chainsaw Carving Competition.
ENGLISH OPEN CHAINSAW CARVING
3rd-5th May 2025
What an honour to be one of the 23 amazing carvers at this year's English Open Chainsaw Carving Competition, hosted at the Sandringham Food, Craft & Wood Festival. I was so pleased with my piece, Enthralled.

NEATH STEAM & VINTAGE SHOW
14th-15th June 2025
This show is so special to me, and it is such an honour to be invited. It's also my dad's favourite, so it's lovely to take him along with me. Unfortunately, the weather was not on my side, but it was still a successful show, and we got to enjoy being in Wales.
CHESHIRE GAME
& COUNTRY FAIR
24th - 25th August 2025
I have been visiting Cheshire Game & Country Fair from very early on in my carving career. Watching the other carvers at this show was inspiring. I had the pleasure of carving here for the first time in 2022 and have loved coming back ever since. I'm super proud of this piece, especially the lizard, which I created entirely from imagination, as I had no reference material.

CARVE CARRBRIDGE
30th August 2025
Carve Carrridge is my annual excuse to visit Scotland, and I love to do it. This competition is unique as it is just 4 hours of carving time using only chainsaws, no other power tools. I really enjoy carving alongside the other carvers in the ring - it is truly special and an absolute honour.
